Phishing websites are malicious entities that impersonate genuine sites to deceive visitors into disclosing their login details and other confidential information. The best way to steer clear of these sites is to ensure that you always access the authentic site (https://virgocx.ca) and not any other web address.

Report fraudulent phishing emails

Please report any suspected phishing sites [e-mail], providing the full URL of the site in question. If the phishing attempt was made through an email, it is important to include the full email headers to assist in the investigation. The headers reveal the path that the email took to reach your inbox. Without them, we cannot fully investigate the issue.

To obtain the email headers, you can refer to your email provider's support documentation or use the MxToolbox website (https://mxtoolbox.com/public/content/emailheaders/) to find instructions specific to your email client. Please note that MxToolbox is not a Virgo service and using it will be subject to its terms and conditions, including a separate privacy policy that may differ from Virgo's. It is important to understand and review all relevant terms and conditions before using MxToolbox.

Notify Virgo of fraudulent phishing texts

To report a phishing text message or SMS, kindly send a screenshot of the phishing text to [e-mail]. To reduce the possibility of receiving such messages in the future, you can also copy and paste the text into a new SMS message and send it to [e-mail].

Our security team will promptly investigate your report and take the necessary steps to shut down any harmful sites that may be targeting Virgo customers.
