BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, LUNA2, ATOM and XLM will have new deposit addresses Thursday, April 27th.
To ensure the best crypto deposit and withdraw experience and integrate industry leading technology, VirgoCX will upgrade its wallet system. New deposit addresses for BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, LUNA2, ATOM and XLM will be assigned automatically to all VirgoCX users after the maintenance on April 27th.
VirgoCX website and the mobile app will be undergoing wallet and system maintenance from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM EST, April 27th, 2023 for approximately 4 hours. All functions and access to the VirgoCX website and mobile app will be unavailable during this time.
What do you need to know?
- New deposit addresses for BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, LUNA2, ATOM and XLM will be assigned automatically to all VirgoCX users after the maintenance on April 27th. Please begin using your new deposit address as soon as it is updated to ensure that your funds reach your VirgoCX account promptly moving forward.
- You must update your saved addresses. The old BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, LUNA2, ATOM and XLM deposit addresses will not be supported on VirgoCX after May 26th, so please be sure to update any addresses that might be saved on other websites, wallets, or exchanges.
- Sending funds to old deposit addresses after April 27th will result in extra transaction cost. If you send funds to your old BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, LUNA2, ATOM and XLM deposit address after April 27th, the funds will be automatically transferred to your new deposit addresses with the extra transaction cost which is equivalent to around $20 CAD. The exact transaction cost is listed as follow: 0.0005 BTC, 0.12 BCH, 0.16 LTC, 180 DOGE, 12 LUNA2, 1.3 ATOM and 156 XLM. If the amount of fund is lower than the transaction cost listed, the deposited amount then won’t reflect in the system.
- Sending funds to old deposit addresses after May 26th will result in loss of funds. If you send funds to your old BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, LUNA2, ATOM and XLM deposit addresses after May 26th, we may not be able to recover them for you. To ensure that you receive your funds, please triple check that all saved addresses are updated to the newly generated address moving forward.
