Everyone’s favourite tax season is approaching! We are here to share how to export records of your cryptocurrency transactions from VirgoCX to file crypto taxes this year. Please note that these reports are only associated with your transaction activities on VirgoCX. If you have traded cryptocurrencies on other platforms this year, please request similar reports with them.
For PC Version
- Please login to your VirgoCX account on our website
- Click "eDocument" on the right top corner under your name.
- To file your crypto taxes, you'll need to export full activities history from VirgoCX.
- To check your records on how much fiat (USD & CAD) or cryptocurrency deposit/withdrawal history, go to “Data Export”, select "Transaction Data" and choose either Cryptocurrency or Fiat currency.
- For your cryptocurrency fund history, select “ALL” for both “Direction” and “Assets”.
- For fiat currency fund history, click “Fiat Currency”, also select “ALL” for both “Direction” and “Assets”.
- If you’re filing tax for the year 2021 only, then “Start Date” should be January 1, 2021, and for “End Date” December 31, 2021.
- If you’re filing for the previous years too, then the start date should be the first day of that year.
- After selecting the date range, click “Next” to get your reports.
- To check your records on how much fiat (USD & CAD) or cryptocurrency deposit/withdrawal history, go to “Data Export”, select "Transaction Data" and choose either Cryptocurrency or Fiat currency.
- To check your full transaction history.
- Select ALL for all “Pair”, “Direction”, and “Order Type”.
- If you’re filing tax for the year 2021 only. Then “Start Date” should be January 1, 2021, and for “End Date” December 31, 2021.
- If you’re filing for the previous years too, then the start date should be the first day of that year.
- Click “Next” to get your report.
Important Note:
- Data Export feature is only available on a PC version.
After collecting these reports, provide them to a tax attorney or upload them on any tax software you use to file your taxes.
Please note that your fiat currency funds report is not required to file your crypto taxes. A tax report will still be generated with just the transaction history CSV file and the cryptocurrency funds file. However, including the fiat currency funds file will ensure fiat balances match and may be easier to read your VirgoCX data.

For App Version
1. Please login to your VirgoCX account, and click "Account" at the bottom of the navigation.
2. Click "eDocument Download”
3. Select either "Trade Confirmation" or "Transaction Confirmation", and choose the time range to download your transaction reports.

If I could give zero stars I would. Suspended my account for no reason. Won't allow me to withdraw my money. Didn't ever give my friend the $$'s that were guaranteed if they got 4 friends to sign up, even though he did everything they asked and spend many hours on it.
