How to deposit with Interac Request Money

1. Navigate to the Fund page from the bottom of the screen and select Interac e-Transfer
2. Select Request money from Interac e-transfer Options.
3. Enter the amount of money you want to deposit and send yourself the deposit email. Please ensure you have Interac daily, weekly and monthly limit available with your bank/financial institution and they support fund deposit to cryptocurrency exchanges.
4. Please read the instruction to complete the fund transfer.

Approving the Deposit

1. Open your email app. You’ll find an email from Interac that looks like an e-transfer request from yourself.
2. Accept and complete the request through your bank or financial institution.
   • You will require to login to your banking account to approve your deposit.
3. Receive your deposit within 30 minutes (may take upto 24 hours).

Important notes

• Please be aware that your bank may put your transfer on hold and may contact you for verification if you're transferring money to a crypto trading platform. This is to prevent crypto scams and ensure you are knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies.

• VirgoCX is regulated by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) and registered with FINTRAC. Protecting your assets and privacy is our top priority, and we take extensive measures to secure our systems and provide a safe trading environment for you. Your funds on VirgoCX are secure.

• We will reject the deposit if the name of the owner of the bank account from which you submit the transaction does not match the legal name you have provided for your VirgoCX account. Additionally, please ensure that your address is up-to-date within your profile.

• You will receive confirmation via email and we will let you know when your deposit has been processed. Funds deposited through interac e-transfer ca be accessed for trading only after the funds have been processed.
