How to Fix Access Issues

Dear users,

Due to the new DNS address setting, some users may experience problems accessing our website. If you meet the problem as follows, please set your browser according to our hints. The potential access problem has different views depends on browser choices.

For example, if your browser is Google Chrome, this error will show as DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN(as seen below) and will say that the DNS address could not be found.

If your browser is Mozilla Firefox, this error will simply show as “Hmm, We’re having trouble finding that site(as seen below)”.

If your browser is Microsoft Edge or Safari, the problem page is similar, and we will provide the solution for you to solve this.

The access problem is caused by the local DNS (Domain Name System) cache. We recommend you to browser-side fixing first. If it is still not working for your computer, please try the system-side fixing. 

1. Browser-Side Fixing

(1) If your browser is Chrome, input ‘chrome://net-internals/#dns’ in the address bar and click ‘clear host cache’, then restart your browser.

(2) If your browser is Firefox, click “History” in the toolbar and then choose “Clear recent history”. you will see a pop-up window like

then, check “Cache” and click “OK” button, then restart the browser.

(3) If your browser is Safari, click “History” in the toolbar and then choose “Clear History” at the bottom, you will see a pop-up window like

then, click “Clear History” and restart your browser.

(4) If your browser is IE, click “Tools” in the toolbar and then choose “Delete browsing history” and you will see a pop-up window and then check “Cookies and Website data”, then click “Delete” button and restart the browser.

2. System-Side Fixing

For MAC 

If your computer operating system is MAC OS, go to System Preferences, click on the network icon and then click “Advanced”.

Click the TCP/IP tab heading if you aren’t already in there. Then click on the “Renew DHCP lease button” and restart your browser.

You can also clear the local DNS cache in a different place. Go to Utilities and then click on “Terminal”.

Enter the following command: “dscacheutil -flushcache”

Note: there is no success message on Macs and you can choose one of these to clean the old DNS cache. Just remember to restart your browser after you complete the above operations.

For Windows

If your computer operating system is Windows, simply open up Command Prompt by pressing the Windows logo key and R. Then type “cmd” and hit Enter.

Type in “ipconfig /release” and hit Enter. This will release your current IP address.

Then type in “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit Enter. This will flush your local DNS cache. You should see a “Successfully flushed the DNS resolver Cache” if it worked.

Then type in “ipconfig /renew” and hit Enter. This will renew your IP address.

When you complete these steps, just restart your computer and every new setting will work.
